Mean of Transportation

DAY 1. SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA.

Pick up and transfer from the International Airport to your selected hotel in San José. Rest of the day on your own to enjoy the Hotel amenities and facilities.

DAY 2. SAN JOSE – PUERTO VIEJO, LIMON.

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning transfer to Costa Rica's South Caribbean, home to a unique Afro-Caribbean culture and one of the best beach areas of the country surrounded by an incredible kaleidoscope of color.

DAY 3. CAHUITA NATIONAL PARK.

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

If you purchased the optional activities package, in the morning you will visit Cahuita National Park. Start by taking a boat offshore to the coral reefs -- go snorkeling and admire the beautiful underwater life. On your return we take you on a trek through the natural trails of the park to observe the unique flora and fauna of the region. The day's activity will conclude with a typical Caribbean meal, one of the many exceptional experiences Costa Rica has to offer.

DAY 4. PUERTO VIEJO, LIMON – TORTUGUERO.

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to Tortuguero National Park. On the way you can observe many small communities and extensive banana plantations that dot the countryside en route to the embarcadero. The trip will continue by boat for a two hour cruise up the rivers and canals to our destination hotel. After lunch a visit to the town of Tortuguero is included. Dinner included.

DAY 5. TORTUGUERO.

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning boat ride along the canals of Tortuguero, a national park renowned for its diversity in habitats that shelter seven species of turtle, a large variety of crustaceans and many species of fresh water fish. After lunch you are free to stroll through the grounds and explore the hotel surroundings. Dinner included.

DAY 6. TORTUGUERO – ARENAL VOLCANO

Breakfast at your hotel. We will once again board the boat for transfer to the embarcadero and then continue by land to Guápiles, where you may enjoy a delicious lunch. Continuation of our trip to the Arenal Volcano, one of the country's most famous attractions.

DAY 7. ARENAL VOLCANO.

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

If you chose our optional activities package, in the afternoon you will take a hiking tour to the Arenal Volcano and a visit Tabacón Resort & Hot Springs -- dinner included.

DAY 8. ARENAL VOLCANO – MONTEVERDE.

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the Monteverde cloud forest; experience the views of Lake Arenal and many typical communities of the country. Afternoon on your own to enjoy the amenities of the hotel.

DAY 9. MONTEVERDE.

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

If you chose our optional activities package, your morning will include a transfer to an adventure center where you can experience the excitement of hanging bridges and the Canopy tour. After lunch, we will visit the hummingbird gardens.

DAY 10. MONTEVERDE – RINCON DE LA VIEJA.

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano. During the trip enjoy the spectacular views of the Cloud Forest and many typical communities in the countryside. Afternoon on your own to enjoy the amenities of the hotel.

DAY 11. RINCON DE LA VIEJA

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

If you chose our optional activities package, you will have an exciting horseback ride along the trails surrounding hotel as you observe the beauty and diversity of the Dry Tropical Forest.

DAY 12. RINCON DE LA VIEJA – NORTH PACIFIC

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the North Pacific, during the trip you can observe the savannahs of Guanacaste and the many typical communities of the region. Afternoon on your own to enjoy the amenities of the hotel.

DAY 13. NORTH PACIFIC.

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

DAY 14. NORTH PACIFIC – SAN JOSE.

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning free to enjoy the hotel facilities and amenities. At the prearranged time we will start the transfer back to the capital city.

DAY 15. SAN JOSE.

Breakfast at your hotel. At the prearranged time, we will transfer you to the International Airport in enough time to board your return flight home.
