Mean of Transportation

DAY 1. SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA.

Pick up and transfer from the International Airport to your selected hotel in San José. Rest of the day on your own to enjoy the Hotel amenities and facilities. Complimentary Fresh fruit basket in your room.

DAY 2. SAN JOSE – TORTUGUERO.

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to Tortuguero National Park by way of Braulio Carrillo National Park, the latter well known for its forests, tall mountains and immense number of rivers. The trip will continue by boat for a two hour cruise up the rivers and canals to our destination hotel. After lunch a visit to the town of Tortuguero is included. Dinner included.

DAY 3. TORTUGUERO.

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning boat ride along the canals of Tortuguero, a national park renowned for its diversity of habitats that shelter seven species of turtle, a large variety of crustaceans and many species of fresh water fish. After lunch you are free to stroll through the grounds and explore the hotel surroundings. Dinner included.

DAY 4. TORTUGUERO – ARENAL VOLCANO

Breakfast at your hotel. We will once again board the boat for transfer to the embarcadero and then continue by land to Guápiles, where you may enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch we continue onwards to the Arenal Volcano, one of the country's most famous attractions. Welcome Cocktail. Your room will be elegantly appointed with seasonal flowers and a fresh fruit basket. A candlelight dinner including wine will be served on the balcony of your room.

DAY 5. ARENAL VOLCANO.

Romantic breakfast in your room. Your choice of a half day tour to the Arenal Volcano or a horseback ride to the La Fortuna Waterfall or a trek along the hanging bridges. In the afternoon you'll enjoy a therapeutic massage for couples.

DAY 6. ARENAL VOLCANO – NORTH PACIFIC.

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the North Pacific region of the country, during the trip you can observe Lake Arenal and many typical communities in the countryside. Afternoon on your own to enjoy the amenities of the hotel.

DAY 7. NORTH PACIFIC.

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

DAY 8. NORTH PACIFIC.

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

If you purchased the optional activities package, on this day you can enjoy a large variety of activities in one place, surrounded by the nature and tranquility of the area. You have your choice of selecting the canopy tour and hanging bridges excursion; relaxation in the hot springs with transfer by tractor or on horseback; experience the thrill of travelling down a mountain waterslide or visit the serpentarium. All this in addition to a healthy typical lunch.

DAY 9. NORTH PACIFIC – SAN JOSE.

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning free to enjoy the hotel facilities and amenities. At the prearranged time we will start the transfer back to the capital city.

DAY 10. SAN JOSE – CONCLUSION OF SERVICES.

Breakfast at your hotel. At the prearranged time, we will transfer you to the International Airport in enough time to board your return flight home.
