DAY 1. SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA.

Pick up and transfer from the International Airport to your selected hotel in San José. Rest of the day on your own to enjoy the Hotel amenities and facilities.

DAY 2. SAN JOSE – POAS VOLCANO, DOKA ESTATE & SARCHI.

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

If you purchased the optional activities package, during the morning you will take a tour to see the imposing and majestic crater of the Poás Volcano. Located at 2,708 meters (8,884 feet) above sea level, this is one of the world's largest craters. After the visit to this national park, we will continue to the Doka Estate coffee farm. The tour begins with the impressive coffee plantation and continues through to the processing plant which is 96 years old. Here you can observe the process of de-pulping as well as the fermentation of our golden bean. After a delicious typical lunch, we will continue on to Sarchí, the cradle of Costa Rican handcrafts known for the construction and decoration of the typical Costa Rican Ox-Cart.

DAY 3. SAN JOSE – ARENAL VOLCANO.

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

If you purchased the optional activities package, your day will include a visit to Costa Rica's most active volcano and an opportunity to relax in the hot springs that will provide an unforgettable experience. The imposing Arenal Volcano is admired for it eruptions of ash and lava that at night provide observers with a unique display of fireworks. Facing the volcano and close enough to feel its thunder, we will visit the thermal springs and pools of the resort. After a delicious lunch you can indulge in the medicinal and rejuvenating waters of this attraction and at night you will revel in a dinner setting that is prepared for you almost at the foot of the volcano.

DAY 4. ARENAL VOLCANO.

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

If you purchased the optional activities package, during the morning we will tour Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge and Río Frío. This area will provide us with an opportunity to encounter a large diversity of resident and migratory bird species, in addition to different species of monkeys, iguanas, sloths, crocodiles and turtles. You will boar a boat for a 2 ½ hour ride through the tropical rainforest. Afterwards, a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch awaits you prior to the return to the volcano area.

DAY 5. ARENAL VOLCANO – CENTRAL PACIFIC.

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the Central Pacific, during the trip you can observe Lake Arenal and many typical communities of the country. Afternoon on your own to enjoy the amenities of the hotel.

DAY 6. CENTRAL PACIFIC.

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

If you purchased the optional activities package, your morning will include a visit to one of Costa Rica's most renowned National Parks – Manuel Antonio – where after a one hour hike to the beach, you can relax on the beach for two hours. We will then leave the park for an appetizing lunch.

DAY 7. CENTRAL PACIFIC – SAN JOSE.

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning free to enjoy the facilities of the hotel. At the prearranged time we will start the transfer back to the capital city.

If you purchased the optional activities package, you will enjoy a 30 minute aerial tram tour of the forest canopy where you can observe the diversity of flora and wildlife that inhabit the canopy. Afterwards you will descend on a canopy tour and glide down a zip line through the forest, over 15 cables and platforms that provide you with an altogether thrilling and unforgettable experience. In addition, there will be time to visit the serpentarium and the heliconia gallery.

DAY 8. SAN JOSE – CONCLUSION OF SERVICES.

Breakfast at your hotel. At the prearranged time, we will transfer you to the International Airport in enough time to board your return flight home.
