DAY 1. SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA.

Pick up and transfer from the International Airport to your selected hotel in San José. Rest of the day on your own to enjoy the Hotel amenities and facilities.

DAY 2. SAN JOSE – ARENAL VOLCANO.

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the Arenal Volcano, the route to Arenal will take you through some of the most picturesque communities of the country.

DAY 3. ARENAL VOLCANO.

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

If you purchased the optional activities package, your morning will include a canopy tour. Admire the beauty surrounding the Arenal Volcano and the subsequent descent of 2.8 kilometers amid the best canopy tour facilities in the country.

DAY 4. ARENAL VOLCANO – RINCON DE LA VIEJA.

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the Rincón de la Vieja, during the trip you will observe Lake Arenal and many typical communities along the countryside. Afternoon on your own to enjoy the amenities of the hotel.

DAY 5. RINCON DE LA VIEJA

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

If you purchased the optional activities package, your morning will involve an exciting tour on horseback along the nature trails of the dry tropical forest surrounding the hotel.

DAY 6. RINCON DE LA VIEJA – GRANADA, NICARAGUA.

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning transfer to the northern border crossing at Peñas Blancas. Once we have cleared immigration, we will proceed to the Nicaraguan city of Granada with lunch en route. Upon arriving at Granada we will spend the afternoon navigating the waters of Lake Nicaragua also known as Lake Cocibolca. We will discover the majesty of this lake during a boat tour through its amazing waters viewing the 365 islets of volcanic origin. Observe the natural canals and lush vegetation of these small islands and admire the imposing Mombacho Volcano in the background. Upon returning, we will be met at the dock for a horse drawn carriage tour of this superb colonial city.

DAY 7. GRANADA, NICARAGUA.

Breakfast at your hotel. We will have an early morning departure to the capital city of Managua. There we will delve into the present and past of this unique city. Our tour will include visits to city landmarks such as the Cathedral of Santiago de los Caballeros, the National Palace of Culture, the Ruben Dario National Theater and the monument to this illustrious Latin American poet. We will also visit the Presidential Palace and Cerro Tiscapa and its Lagoon, which are also home to a memorial museum in honor of General Augusto C. Sandino, a national hero and forefather of present day Nicaragua. After a hearty lunch at a typical restaurant, we will continue our tour by returning to Granada via the Masaya Volcano National Park and the town of Masaya, famous for its handcrafts, especially the local market and the traditional hand woven Nicaraguan hammock.

DAY 8. GRANADA, NICARAGUA – NORTH PACIFIC, COSTA RICA.

Breakfast at your hotel. Return trip to Costa Rica and visit to the North Pacific. Afternoon on your own to enjoy the amenities of the hotel.

DAY 9. NORTH PACIFIC.

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

DAY 10. NORTH PACIFIC – SAN JOSE.

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning free to enjoy the hotel facilities and amenities. At the prearranged time we will start the transfer back to the capital city.

DAY 11. SAN JOSE – CONCLUSION OF SERVICES.

Breakfast at your hotel. At the prearranged time, we will transfer you to the International Airport in enough time to board your return flight home.
