Join an incredible horseback experience in the rainforests of De la Cruz Mount! Wander peacefully on your trusty steed as you enjoy the fresh air and natural surrounds. This tour finishes with a visit to a local cheese factory, and lunch is included.

You will climb the beautiful De la Cruz Mount on an exhilarating morning horseback ride. As you ride the winding trails, you will visit the water spring that supplies potable water to the city of Heredia and pass picturesque dairy farms and luxurious houses.  The views of the surrounding valley are also wonderful.

From the top of the mountain, you may see San Jose, the Braulio Carrillo National Park, and two glorious volcanoes ­ Barva and Poás. As you return, riding down the evergreen trails, you will be able to spot many species of birds, animals, butterflies, and ornamental plants. At the end of your tour, you will visit a local cheese factory and enjoy a delicious Costa Rican lunch.
