Admire the imposing Poás Volcano from 2.708m (8.884ft) above sea level, and visit a unique coffee plantation and the historic city of Sarchí on this exciting day trip.

The tour’s first stop is Poás Volcano National Park, where you will enjoy magnificent views of the Central Valley and the volcano’s enormous crater - one of the biggest in the world! 

Next, you will visit Doka Estate and its beautiful coffee plantations. Your tour guide will take you through the estate, visiting the plantations and the 96 year old "beneficio" or coffee mill.  Having learned how premium coffee beans turn into a fabulous cup of java, you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch.

You will continue to the town of Sarchí, home to Costa Rica’s most experienced artisans.  Here, you may see first-hand how typical oxcarts are built and painted and indulge buying the local’s beautiful wood souvenirs!
